DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI (8/13/19) – Over the Summer recess, school districts take advantage of the low traffic at their facilities to tackle various maintenance and renovation projects before students return in the Fall. At Westwood Community Schools, one such project was the renovation of catch basins.
Funded by a grant of $10,000 from the Dearborn Heights TIFA, catch basins were replaced in the parking lots of Robichaud High School and the Equilla Bradford Administrative Center.
“It is through the caring and generous nature of community spirit, such as [TIFA’s], that many of our accomplishments have been achieved,” said David Stull, Westwood Director of Operations. “We greatly appreciate [TIFA’s] efforts and assistance.”
Since its founding, TIFA has contributed millions of dollars to Westwood Schools for the enhancement of facilities located within the TIFA District.
