The Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (BRA) was established to encourage and assist developers who want to return contaminated and functionally obsolete property to productive use more quickly and at a lower cost than before, while at the same time protecting human health and natural resources.  The City of Dearborn Heights BRA has assisted in the completion of four major projects through its program:
