The Sidewalk Replacement Program for 2011 consisted of TIFA working together with the Dearborn Heights Community & Economic Development Department on improving the sidewalks on the streets between S. Beech Daly and Gulley, from Princeton to Dartmouth. Please see the Progress Map (link below) for details of areas completed to date.

NOTICE: The TIFA Sidewalk Replacement Program was originally scheduled to continue in the area south of Dartmouth to Van Born, between Gulley and Telegraph. However, we have been notified by our engineers of the necessity for our ongoing waterline replacement program to take place in that same area in the future. Furthermore, due to recent economic conditions, funds are currently not available for sidewalk construction. Therefore, the Sidewalk Replacement Program has been temporarily suspended in that area until a coordinated plan is developed and funds are available.
