DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI (11/15/24) – Daly Park, the only City park located in within the boundaries of the TIFA Distrcit, is now home to a new outdoor “fitness pad” thanks in part to funding from the Dearborn Heights Tax Increment Finance Authority (TIFA).
The City’s Department of Parks & Recreation received grant funding for the equipment, and TIFA contributed the funds necessary to install the cement pad on which the equipment has been installed.
A ribbon cutting took place on Monday, October 28, 2024 with City and TIFA officials, as well as members of the public present.
Residents are invited to use the equipment during the hours that the park is open. Instructions are posted on the signage along with QC codes to access additional workout information via smartphones.
