DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI (8/13/19) – Representatives from the Dearborn Heights TIFA joined City leaders and members of the local business community this morning at Korte’s Collision, located on Van Born Road just East of Inkster Road in the Dearborn Heights TIFA District, for a ribbon cutting open house. Korte’s recently underwent a significant expansion project, growing their business to continue to serve our community for many years to come.
Mayor Daniel Paletko thanked them for their investment in Dearborn Heights and reflected on their positive contribution to the economic stability of the Van Born Corridor.
The renovation work at Korte’s was aided in part by a $10,000 grant from TIFA’s Business Improvement Program.
“Korte’s is one of the anchor businesses in our TIFA District, and we appreciate all that Matt and Lisa do for our community,” commented TIFA Administrator Tom Rosco.
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony and a brief program by members of the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce, everyone in attendance was treated to a light breakfast buffet and tour of the renovated facilities.
