DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI (7/21/22) – The City of Dearborn Heights Department of Public Works headquarters located on Van Born Road in the TIFA District recently received a much needed facilities upgrade.
Thanks to funding from TIFA, a new main entrance gate with upgraded electronic access system was installed, replacing a 20+ year old gate that was failing and could no longer be repaired.
The DPW headquarters is located at 24600 Van Born Road, just West of Telegraph Road.
Established in 1986, the Dearborn Heights TIFA works to prevent urban deterioration and encourage economic development and activity while encouraging neighborhood revitalization and historical preservation. Consequently, for more than 35 years, TIFA has shown real results by contributing tens of millions of dollars of investment within the district.
