DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI (8/14/25) – The Dearborn Heights Tax Increment Finance Authority (TIFA) recently covered the cost of another much needed improvement at the City of Dearborn Heights Department of Public Works headquarters located in the TIFA District.
Thanks to funding from TIFA, the old overhead garage doors on the main garage were removed and replaced with new larger doors. The previous doors were not tall enough for all of the modern trucks to fit inside the buildings. The openings were raised and new taller doors, complete with all new motorized openers, were installed.
The DPW headquarters is located at 24600 Van Born Road, just West of Telegraph Road.
