DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI (5/4/26) – The Dearborn Heights Tax Increment Finance Authority (TIFA) recently covered the cost of another much needed improvement at the City of Dearborn Heights Department of Public Works headquarters located in the TIFA District.
Thanks to funding provided by TIFA, the severely damaged old trench drain that runs approximately 180 feet along the length of the main garage floor was removed and replaced with a new drain with reinforced grates and surrounding concrete. This improvement will significantly improve safety conditions for our dedicated DPW workers and reduce risk of damage to vehicles.
The DPW headquarters is located at 24600 Van Born Road, just West of Telegraph Road.
