DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI (7/24/22) – As many know, our Dearborn Heights Libraries are used by many of our residents. Due to the heavy traffic and usage, the copy machine/printer at the John F. Kennedy Jr. Library, located at 24602 Van Born Road (between Telegraph and S. Beech Daly Roads) in the TIFA District, was in need of replacement.
Inasmuch as library equipment improvements are part of the TIFA plan, the TIFA Board granted the library administration’s request to cover the cost of a new machine in order to maintain the high level of service to our residents who use that facility.
In addition to occasional upgrades of the library, each year TIFA pays for almost half of the annual bond payment toward paying off the construction of the facility.
