DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI (7/9/25) – The Dearborn Heights Tax Increment Finance Authority (TIFA) has made a major contribution to infrastructure improvements the City of Dearborn Heights.
The city is in the process of a multi-year effort to split the remaining combined sewers located in various parts of the city, including some in within the boundaries of the TIFA District just south of Michigan Avenue. This work, which separates “storm water” from “waste water”, is important for the health and safety of the public.
The TIFA Board approved a generous contribution of $1,500,000 toward this effort. As with other projects for the good of our residents, this will be a long term investment in our future!
